A well needed seamless usability
During the Kikk Festival 2018 in Namur, several terminals where placed throughout this small belgian town. The goal of this project was for visitors to download an app to visualize digital pieces of art in a real environment.
Since one of the goal of the Kikk festival is not only to attract nerds from all around the worls, the app needed to be super easy and quick to use. Yes, they try to include every citizens from this small city as well, young and old.
How did it work?
First of all, the app needed to be downloaded. Obviousliy. Once the app was installed on the mobile device, we just onboarded the users with some explainations before offering them to try the experience.
The user just had to scan a QR code that was printed on a terminal and BAM. The art project is loaded. They can now watch it interact with their environment.
